BIOGRAPHY
I am an artist living and working in Kent, UK. Painting has been a constant throughout my life, and my practice has evolved to encompass a range of media, with oils as my dominant focus, complemented by watercolour and mixed media.
My work is inspired by landscapes and florals, with a particular emphasis on atmosphere, light, and emotion. I am drawn to dramatic skies and fleeting moments in nature that transform the mood of a place. Through my paintings, I seek to capture not only the visual experience, but a deeper sense of stillness and connection—creating pieces that invite quiet reflection.
Alongside my landscapes, my floral work explores form and movement with a more expressive, intuitive approach, often focusing on subtle shifts in tone and texture.

A distinctive element of my work is the use of gold, silver, and copper leaf. These materials introduce a refined luminosity, catching and reflecting light in a way that enhances depth and brings an added sense of richness and dimension to each piece.
In addition to my studio practice, I run The Art Cabin, where I teach and mentor adult learners. This aspect of my work is deeply rewarding, allowing me to share my knowledge while encouraging others to develop both their creativity and confidence.
